On February 23, 2007, Jason Walker won 3rd place in a national competition for 1st year apprentices at the MCAA's (Mason Contractors Association of America) 2007 Masonry Showcase Expo in Orlando FL.

He was invited to participate after winning 1st place in his category in the Apprentice Contest at the BETCO plant in VA in September 2006.

Jason's run started when he won 1st place in the MD contest, which led to the National Votech contest in Boulder CO in April 2006.

Jason, pictured with Tom Weaver and Mario Taliano, is a recent graduate from the Center of Applied Technology North in Anne Arundel County MD and is doing a great job! Congratulations to Jason!!

Maceo Mantooth (pictured above) also participated in the Apprentice Contest at the BETCO plant in VA in September 2006 and won 4th place in his category. Congratulations to Maceo!!
